The best of Philips home appliances showcased at global ‘Home Fest’ event

For over 130 years, Philips has pioneered meaningful innovation in the home—from bringing the light bulb to the masses to developing today’s smart, high-quality appliances that make everyday life easier and more rewarding. Every product is inspired by real consumer needs and trends, staying true to Philips’ belief that innovation only matters when it improves daily life at home.

At its first-ever Philips Home Fest event in Paris (Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th April), the brand opened its doors to media and consumers from around the world—shining a light on its legacy of innovation and showcasing the very best of its current product line-up.

Airfryer Philips created the first Airfryer in 2010. Philips started the kitchen movement, bringing the world a way to make delicious, healthier meals, quickly, from scratch. Philips continues to show its innovation, as the world's first dual basket airfryer with steam was on-show at the event.

The two asymmetric baskets allow users to cook different foods with different methods at the same time. The new Philips Airfryer offers 19 different cooking functions and 12 pre-set programs, including a new Steam Clean feature designed to reduce fat residue buildup for easier maintenance. It also enables cooking up to 40% faster while using up to 80% less energy compared to a conventional oven*.

Electric mop
Leading the way in floor care since 1950, Philips has been cleverly cleaning homes worldwide for decades.

Guests at the Home Fest were shown the Philips OneUp electric mop that delivers floors twice as clean**, twice as fast compared to manual mopping. The hassle-free clean turned the mop market on its head as it means there’s no more need to wring mops or drag buckets. By collecting dirty water from the floor into one tank and dispensing clean water from another, the Philips OneUp electric mop stops people from spreading dirty water across their floors.

Marloes Laan, Chief Marketing Officer for Philips home appliances said: “Philips has been thinking about the meaning of home—and life at home—for over 130 years. Home is where people can truly be themselves, where they feel safe, comfortable, and connected to the people who matter most.

We feel a great sense of privilege and responsibility in being part of people’s homes. We believe that people, make the home, and our role is to support them—especially in the small, everyday acts that often go unnoticed, but truly make a house a home. We understand the support people need, and that’s why we design innovations that help lighten the load, simplify routines, and free up more time for what really matters.”

At Philips, we develop solutions that deliver on a broad spectrum of consumer expectations, making at-home tasks more convenient, efficient, and sustainable.”
