Introducing Philips Airfryer 5000 Series with Steam

The new Philips Airfryer 5000 series is making every day cooking easier and more versatile with new steam and steamfry cooking functions.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – Everyday cooking can feel complicated, and many people fall back on the same familiar recipes. The new Philips Airfryer 5000 Series with Steam addresses this by combining traditional airfrying with two additional cooking functions: steam and steamfry, all in one single-basket airfryer. This makes it easier to prepare a wider variety of dishes with less effort, while delivering great taste and tender textures.

Marloes Laan, Chief Marketing Officer for Philips home appliances: “As the inventors of the original Airfryer, Philips has always focused on making every day cooking easier at home. By bringing steam to a wider range of Philips Airfryers, we continue to help people cook with more confidence and variety, making everyday moments in the kitchen more enjoyable and rewarding.”

Variety without complexity
The steamfry cooking function combines hot air and steam in one program, delivering dishes that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without added oil. The result is better taste and more convenience, with less risk of overcooking or burnt spots. Now users can enjoy a golden crunch from airfrying, with a juicy, tender inside from steam.

The steam technology introduces steam directly into the ingredients, resulting in pillowy dumplings, tender vegetables, and savory fish. Steaming preservers up to 87% more nutrients1, delivers delicate results without sogginess, while helping ingredients retain their color, moisture and natural flavor.

The Philips Airfryer with Steam is designed to bring more variety to everyday cooking. With 21 cooking functions, from baking and grilling to steaming and reheating, it makes it easy to prepare a wide range of dishes using one appliance.

The airfryer uses patented RapidAir Plus Technology, which circulates hot air quickly and evenly using a unique star-shaped design. This helps reduce cooking time while delivering consistently crispy and juicy results, with up to 90% less fat compared to traditional frying2.

Ease of use
With the new automatic SteamClean, fat and residue are loosened at the touch of a button, reducing the need for manual scrubbing and making clean-up faster and easier. This category-first feature is exclusive to Philips Airfryers.

The Philips Airfryer 5000 Series with Steam is designed for everyday use in real homes. A large 7.2-litre basket allows families to cook complete meals. The patented EasySlide Rail lets users pull out the basket smoothly to check, shake, or serve food safely. A viewing window makes it easy to monitor cooking progress without interrupting the process.

With all its cooking funtions the appliance replaces multiple kitchen tools while taking up minimal counter space. The detachable water tank keeps the footprint compact, and the appliance has PFAS-free ceramic coating.
